The Legislative Council voted unanimously to hire Terri Kondeff as the new Legislative Services Office director.
Kondeff, who served as the deputy director under retiring director Eric Milstead, interviewed for the position on Tuesday afternoon during the Legislative Council meeting. Prior to serving as deputy director, Kondeff was chief operations officer and finance and HR officer for LSO, and a senior financial specialist for the Idaho Supreme Court.
Rep. Wendy Horman moved to hire Kondeff, and Senate President Pro Tem Chuck Winder seconded the motion.
Kondeff was among four applicants who were interviewed for the job on Tuesday. Office of Performance Evaluations Director Rakesh Mohan, Legislative Audit Division Manager April Renfro, and Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Deputy Administrator for Policy and Innovation David Bell also applied.
The non-partisan LSO staff coordinates legislative services for lawmakers. LSO has four branches: budget and policy analysis, information technology, legislative audits, and research and legislation.
